saying goodbye...

... to all this eating! with bomen at trigo in u.p.:
with jp at wendy's, after too too long! (that salad was
yummy by the way):
and eggsben at coffeebean, something i always used to have
when i was teacher and checked papers in every coffeebean
branch near ateneo. that is yummy apple pie, too:

... because i'm off to baguio! unless wifi exists where we'll
live, then no posts for a week. :)

old dress, new shoes (na naman!)

at tita mely's hometown

nagpa-picture sa puon:
nagmahalan. (yihee!) at ang winning line ni pao, when the
one bottle of wine was emptied by camille and me, and
he said bibili na siya sa ministop. sabi ni camille: sama ko
sama ko! sabi ni pao: wag na, baka masagasaan ka.
played cards as we waited for the procession.
drank the aforementioned first bottle of wine.
nagyosi at nagbonding. anubah.

and there was so so much food, but for some
reason i have no pictures of it. bakit kaya?

sadness

brings me to: beer which has been replaced by margarita
for far too long (mas mura naman ito, at mas malupit ang
tama. hehe.)
camille's house and wine and yosi (though both happen
when i'm alone too. ay, sylvia plath, is that you?)
and here. to talk to Wisa. to take stock. to cry cry cry.

missing

sunshine. and this old self that i had with her. look at this
picture (taken by ning): we were teachers then, we were
thin (haha!) , we had no idea our lives would be what they
are now, we were happy. and punyeta, we were together.
period. (ay, para naman kamin mag-on ni sunshine noon.
hahaha!)

this is so stark now, the missing i mean, and i think it's
because i've been looking at kikay stuff online. and you know,
kakikayan reminds me so much of sunsh, who said we really
should walk with more swing in the hips, feel less insecure
about how we look, and where we're at, given na may nabobola
pa naman pala kami. i so super agree. this just might be why
camille wasn't teaching in ateneo then: baka ma-overwhelm
na ang male population e. cheeeeka.
so anyway, i've been dreaming of new bangles. and been
looking too too much at this site:  http://baublesbanglesandbeads.
multiply.com.

missing breeds materialism 'no? or yes, the other way around?

i love you sunsh! super!

so many churches, so little time

Pink Sisters -- where the mass was just unbelievably
solemn, even when there were so many people. ay, baka
naman that's just me not going to mass for the longest time?
Caleruega -- which I knew, and been wanting
to go to, because of Sunshine. :) i could actually imagine
your wedding sunsh!
Manila Cathedral -- and my only question upon realizing
what church it was: ay, diba dito kinasal si Sharon at Gabby?
San Agustin -- at really, kulay peach siya. the older one's
the convent, i think.

Mt. Carmel -- during which, i kept thinking, patron saint
of what nga ulit? because St. Jude is for hopeless cases, diba?
and now i find via google, that it is to her, that we pray for
what we deem as necessity: http://sio.midco.net/nishita/gra10.html
